Lines of Liberty: Campaign is a turn-based tactical strategy game that places students in command of a Revolutionary War militia facing the disciplined British Army. Instead of memorizing battles and generals, students must think like commanders, balancing limited action points, terrain advantages, unit positioning, and survival across a three-battle campaign.

Players lead a small force of American militia and artillery against British regulars, officers, and cannons. Every turn requires careful decisions. Movement costs action points. Attacks cost action points. Poor positioning can lead to devastating losses. Forests provide cover. Rivers block movement. Cannons hit hard but are fragile. Victory depends not on brute force, but on coordination, terrain use, and restraint.

The British AI follows rigid but dangerous logic, advancing methodically, targeting the nearest unit, and striking with superior firepower. This asymmetry mirrors the real Revolutionary War and forces students to confront why colonial forces relied on strategy, positioning, and attrition rather than open-field battles.

With three escalating scenarios—open fields, river crossings, and winter siege—Lines of Liberty transforms the American Revolution into a tense, decision-driven experience that rewards planning, patience, and survival.
