Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy: „Lieder ohne Worte Op. 19, 1 + 2 u. Op. 30, 1 + 4“

Die 4 Lieder ohne Worte op. 19 1 und 2 und op. 30 1 und 4 in einer Fassung für Kontrabass und Klavier von Karl-Hans Bonzelett. Dieser war Schüler von Prof. Rolf Heister, der zu den Stücken schreibt: Die „Mendelssohn-Übertragungen (Lieder ohne Worte) habe ich mit Freude studiert. Die Werke ‚liegen‘ dem Instrument gut und tragen bestimmt zur musikalischen Entwicklung der Spieler bei. Die Stücke kann man gut zum Klingen bringen, weil die Spiellagen ja normal sind. Tausend Dank für die fabelhafte Arbeit!“

The 4 Lieder ohne Worte op. 19 1 and 2 and op. 30 1 and 4 in a version for double bass and piano by Karl-Hans Bonzelett. The latter was a pupil of Prof Rolf Heister, who writes about the pieces: "I studied the Mendelssohn transcriptions (Lieder ohne Worte) with pleasure. The works 'suit' the instrument well and certainly contribute to the musical development of the players. You can make the pieces sound good because the playing positions are normal.
