Fiona Flower Sweater | Knitting Pattern

About

The Fiona Flower Sweater is an all-over lace and cabled sweater with Short Row shaping and a button front neckline.

The Fiona is worked starting from the back and shaped with German Short Rows. Then, stitches are picked up for the front and shaped with German Short Rows and increases to shape the neckline. Next, the fronts and back are joined together to work in the round.

Stitches are picked up around the armhole and shaped with German Short Rows. The sleeves are knit in the round with a cabled and lace motif. Then, stitches are picked up for a 1x1 ribbed collar. Finally, we work a double-knit button band on either side of the neckline.

Gauge

18 sts x 27 rows = 10 cm | 4 inch.

Using 4.5 mm | US 7 needles, measured in pattern.

4.5 mm | US 7 needles for main.

4 mm | US 6 needles for ribbing.

3.5 mm | US 4 needles for double knitting.
