This lesson is one of my favourites and probably the strangest. The lesson is based on an image of a bear lying in bed surrounded by books.
You can see a sample copy of the materials here: https://bit.ly/Bear-Demo
The lesson includes a variety of discussion and conversation tasks that you can use to get students thinking and talking about the image and trying to imagine the story behind it.
These are followed by some more creative tasks. Finally, there are some suggestions for digital creation and research follow-up tasks.
It’s not necessary to use all of the tasks in the plan, you can choose to use any of the tasks individually or change the order of the tasks depending on the approach you want to take and the level of your students.
When you buy this plan you get:
- A PDF copy of the lesson plan with step by step instructions for each of the tasks.
- A link to a digital copy of the presentation that you can use in class and share with your students.
- A PDF version of the presentation that you can use if you have limited connectivity.
