Run your GREP search including or excluding tables
GREP Search in Tables is an Adobe InDesign script that runs a Find/Change operation with control over where it acts: only inside tables, only in text outside tables, or everywhere (like the native Find/Change). InDesign’s own Find/Change can’t limit a search to table cells — or exclude them — so this script fills that gap by letting you point the same query precisely at the content you mean.
It uses the query you’ve already set up in the Find/Change dialog — either the GREP tab or the Text tab — and applies it to the scope you choose, then reports the total number of changes made.
