[SPH] Hamada Type 2
The Hamada Type 2 is a Japanese semi-automatic pistol developed during World War II as a follow-up to the Hamada Type 1. Designed by Bunji Hamada, the Type 2 was intended for use by Imperial Japanese military police and rear-line personnel. Unlike its predecessor, which was chambered in 8×22mm Nambu, the Type 2 was designed to fire the more common .32 ACP cartridge.
The pistol operated on a simple blowback mechanism and featured a single-action trigger. It had an 8-round detachable magazine and was heavily influenced by European pistol designs, particularly the Browning M1910.
