This reversible triangular lace shawl is part of a series of 12 patterns that form my Canadian Art Deco Knits e-book. You can buy it individually or as part of the e-book.

This zig-zag pattern is based on a decorative metal grille that architect Ernest Cormier used in the hall of honour in the Pavilion Roger-Gaudry at the Université de Montréal. It can be knit in a triangular or rectangular shape.

Lace weight triangular sample: used approx 700 yds (640 m) of Turtlepurl Yarns Angel Lace in Lothlorien (approx. 52g of a 100g skein)

Large fingering weight triangular sample: used approx 700 yds (640 m) of Yvieknits Yarn Sock in Pewter (approx 150g of two 100g skeins)

Fun Fact: Cormier also used this same grille in the Supreme Court of Canada.

Stitches used: knit, purl, yo, k2tog, ssk, sk2p, p2tog, p2tog tbl, ssp tbl
