Three UK planners for running the paperwork side of a home, in one download: your emergency information, your household budget and your next move.

  • "If Something Happens to Me" Family Emergency Organiser (fillable A4 PDF, 36 pages). Write down what your family would need to find: who to call, where your will is kept, who you bank and insure with, pensions, bills, the home, pets and your wishes. It records where to find things, not passwords or account numbers.
  • UK Household Budget & Bills Planner (Google Sheets and Excel). A 13-tab budget spreadsheet: income, bills and direct debits, subscriptions, spending, sinking funds, savings goals and a debt payoff planner, pulled together on a dashboard with charts. You get a Start Here PDF with a link to make your own Google Sheets copy, plus the .xlsx file for Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc.
  • UK Moving House Planner (fillable A4 PDF, 28 pages). An 8-week countdown, a moving day plan, a change-of-address checklist (HMRC, DVLA, both councils, electoral register, TV Licensing, GP, banks, pensions, insurers, utilities and more), removals quotes comparison, moving budget, box inventory and first-week checklist.

Costs less than buying the files separately.

All three are written for the UK, with notes where England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland do things differently. They point you to GOV.UK, mygov.scot, nidirect and other official sites for current rules, rather than listing fees or deadlines that change.

What you get (4 files)

  • If-Something-Happens-to-Me_Family-Organiser_LifeAdminDeskStudio.pdf (PDF, 36 pages)
  • UK-Moving-House-Planner_LifeAdminDeskStudio.pdf (PDF, 28 pages)
  • Budget-Planner_Start-Here_Google-Sheets-Link_LifeAdminDeskStudio.pdf (PDF, 4 pages, with the Google Sheets copy link)
  • UK-Household-Budget-Bills-Planner_LifeAdminDeskStudio.xlsx (.xlsx spreadsheet)

These are the same files as the single products in this shop.

How it works

  • Digital download. Nothing physical is posted.
  • Straight after you pay, you'll be taken to your download page, and you'll also get an email with your download link.
  • The two planners: type straight into the fillable fields and tick boxes using a PDF app that supports forms, such as the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, then save. Or print on A4 and fill them in by hand. Some browser and phone PDF viewers don't save form entries. If that happens, use Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • The budget planner: open the Start Here PDF and use the link to make your own copy in Google Sheets (needs a free Google account; your copy is private to you, and I can't see it). Or open the .xlsx in Excel or LibreOffice Calc. Not tested in Apple Numbers.
  • The images show made-up example entries. You get blank files.
  • A4 size. The PDFs print on US Letter with "fit to page", but they're written for the UK.

Please note

These are practical tools for keeping your own records and organising things. They aren't legal, financial, tax, debt or conveyancing advice. Check current rules and fees with the organisation concerned, or get advice from a qualified professional. If you're worried about money or debt, MoneyHelper (moneyhelper.org.uk) offers free, impartial guidance.

Keep them safe

Once filled in, these files will hold personal and financial information. Store them somewhere secure and don't write full account numbers, PINs or passwords in them.

How these were made

I designed these planners and chose their contents, which were checked against official guidance. I used AI tools to help draft some of the wording, to help write some of the spreadsheet formulas and to help build the files. Every page was checked, and the fillable fields and spreadsheet formulas were tested, before release. There are no AI-generated photos or illustrations.

Digital download and cancellations

This is digital content, available to download straight after purchase. At checkout, you'll be asked to agree that the download can start immediately and to acknowledge that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. If a file is faulty or won't open, email lifeadmindesk@gmail.com and I'll put it right.

Personal use

For personal use by you and your household. Please don't resell or share the files publicly.
