I’m Kim — a former public school English teacher (nine years, including AP Language and AP British Literature) turned homeschooling mom on a 15-acre ranch outside Boerne, Texas.

I now teach a weekly upper school literature and writing co-op, homeschool my own kids, and create Charlotte Mason-inspired curriculum through Delight & Savor. Everything I make comes from what I actually use in my own classroom and at my own kitchen table.

My curriculum is rooted in Charlotte Mason’s conviction that ideas matter more than information — that a child who has been taught to narrate faithfully, think carefully, and ask good questions is more prepared for life than one who has been tested on facts. I build toward that. Every handout, every framework, every writing guide is designed to help students read deeply, think clearly, and find meaning in what they read.

I believe literature is one of the great gifts we can give a child — not as an assignment to complete, but as a conversation to enter. My job is to teach them how to walk through the door.
