Hi, I'm a photographer based in Japan.

I'm not a professional — just someone who loves wandering through everyday Japan with a camera, noticing the quiet beauty that most people walk right past.

Rusty tin walls. A cat in a back alley. Rows of seedlings stretching to the horizon. The first snow on autumn leaves. These are the things that stop me in my tracks.

Japan is full of moments that feel ordinary to those of us who live here — but I've come to believe that "ordinary Japan" might be the most beautiful Japan of all.
