It is our book and decision-making framework for examining the motivations, expectations, practical realities and compromises behind moving abroad. Written by Maggie Mark and Pete Kai Cunliffe, it helps you consider what moving could change, what staying could cost and which difficulties you are prepared to accept.

The book can be purchased separately and is also included in the self-paced course.

How is the course different from the book?

The book explores the decision through 29 chapters. The course adds four structured modules, weekly guides, fillable workbooks and supporting resources to help you apply that thinking to your own circumstances.

You will work towards a written Relocation Decision Dossier bringing together your priorities, research, comparisons and next steps.

Is this a video course?

No. Planning Your Move to Europe is a reading and workbook-based course supplied through downloadable PDFs. It includes the complete book, four weekly course guides, four fillable weekly workbooks and additional planning resources—14 PDF documents in total.

Do I need to complete the course in four weeks?

Four weeks is the suggested rhythm, but the course is self-paced. Allow yourself time for research, conversations and reflection, and work through the documents at a pace that suits you.

How will I receive my purchase?

After successful payment, Payhip provides access to your digital purchase and sends confirmation and access information to the email address entered at checkout.

Books and guides are downloadable files. For the course, follow the account and access instructions provided during purchase to reach the course materials.

Can I use the PDFs on my phone or tablet?

The books and guides can be read on a computer, tablet or compatible phone. For completing the fillable workbooks, we recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download the files, open them in Reader and save your answers as you work. A computer or larger tablet will give you more room for the exercises.

Will I receive a printed book?

Do I need to have chosen a destination?

No. You can begin with a chosen country, several possibilities or a desire for change that still needs definition. The resources can help you decide to move, prepare for later, test a destination first or stay.

Are private consultations included?

Do the resources replace professional advice?
