Katherine Matthews has been knitting since childhood, and first started noodling out her own patterns in the 1990s.  Around that same time she completed a Master of Library Science degree and had some patterns in books by Knitter’s Magazine.  Since then, she has lived in France, started blogging, moved back to Canada, continued blogging, started podcasting and has also gotten much better at noodling out knitting patterns which she self-publishes under the Purl Diving label.
