Hello and welcome!

My name is Angie, and I have been a passionate childcare educator for over 35 years. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to gain a wealth of experience working with children across a variety of early childhood and care settings.

I have worked in long day care in many different roles, from an assistant educator, group/team leader, assistant director to director. I have even had a term as a cook. I have also coordinated before and after school care, including vacation care, and worked in creche settings. For almost 13 years, I have been running my own Family Day Care, where I continue to share my love of learning, creativity and play with the children in my care.

During my journey, I have had the opportunity to work across four Australian states, gaining valuable knowledge and experience along the way. I now call beautiful Queensland home.

Angie's Family Day Care Ideas was created from my passion for providing fun, engaging and meaningful learning experiences for children.

I love finding creative ways to extend children's learning through hands-on activities, arts and crafts, sensory play, early literacy, numeracy and so much more. I believe children learn best when they are having fun, exploring their world, making discoveries and developing new skills through play.

Through my Payhip store, I look forward to sharing my ideas and resources with fellow educators, parents and anyone who loves creating exciting learning opportunities for little learners.
