About Me

I am Bear Standing Tall (Jason Carter), an Indigenous Nehiyaw (Cree) entrepreneur, educator, and advocate from Onion Lake Cree Nation, Treaty 6 Territory, currently based in Oshawa, Ontario. I am the founder and President of Bear Standing Tall Inc., a certified Indigenous First Nations woman-owned digital enterprise committed to advancing Indigenous awareness and economic reconciliation across Canada.

With a background in First Nations and Aboriginal Counselling and over a decade of experience in Indigenous cultural education and corporate training, I specialize in creating digital learning tools, eBooks, and cultural training programs tailored to large Canadian corporations. My work aligns with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action—particularly Call to Action 92—and supports the Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAIR) program of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB).

As a passionate builder of bridges between corporate Canada and Indigenous communities, I have delivered training to over 100,000 individuals, developed AI-powered reconciliation platforms like IndigiLink Pro™, and authored several works on allyship, economic inclusion, and cultural revitalization. My goal is simple yet powerful: to guide organizations and individuals in taking meaningful steps toward reconciliation—one act, one conversation, and one commitment at a time.
