James Porteous, known for his work in music and fiction, finds inspiration in the tales we tell about ourselves and others.

Like his other works, this collection mixes elements of real life and fiction. It is not important to determine which is which.

For over 20 years, James has been a freelance writer and an archivist/visual researcher for two major television networks.

He has experienced the world and is also an avid if somewhat accidental traveller and has lived in Toronto, Washington, DC, Qatar, England, Italy and Germany.

James is also the author of The Last Record Album: A Fictional Biography, the anti-war novel Hawkins Bay, and The Fireflies of Torino, a collection of short fiction.
