Who are your services for?

Mini Minds supports toddlers, preschoolers, young primary-aged children, and the parents and caregivers who support them. Early Childhood Centres and Schools.


What happens during a session?

Every session is different because every child is unique. Sessions are personalised and may include play-based learning experiences, parent discussion, and practical strategies that families can continue using at home.


Where do sessions take place?

Please refer to the individual service description for session locations. Some services may be offered in person, while others may be available online, depending on the service booked.


How long are sessions?

Session lengths vary depending on the service you choose. Please check the booking page for the duration of each appointment.


How do I book?

Appointments can be booked online using our booking system. Simply choose your preferred service, select an available time, and follow the booking instructions.


Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans are available on selected services. Please contact Mini Minds before booking if you would like to discuss the available options.


What is your cancellation policy?

Do I need to bring anything?

If there is anything you need to bring to your session, you will be advised when your booking is confirmed.


Do you provide a written report?

Some services may include written recommendations or follow-up information. Please refer to the individual service description to see what is included.


Can you diagnose autism, ADHD, speech delays, learning difficulties, or other conditions?

No. Mini Minds does not diagnose, assess for, or treat medical, psychological, developmental, or behavioural conditions. If you have concerns about your child's health or development, we recommend speaking with an appropriately qualified health professional.


Do I need a referral?

No referral is required to access Mini Minds' educational services.


Are your sessions funded by ACC, the Ministry of Health, or other government agencies?

No. Mini Minds is an independent educational service. Families are responsible for the cost of the services they choose unless otherwise stated.


Are parents involved in sessions?

Yes. Parent and caregiver involvement is encouraged whenever appropriate. Working together helps create consistent learning opportunities for children across home and other environments.


Can educators or early childhood centres book your services?

Yes. Mini Minds also offers workshops, professional learning, and educational support for early childhood services, schools, and community groups.
