Strengthening Your Wellbeing, Identity, and Community Connection

Journaling as a Tool for Your Wellbeing

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CastleHaven Association & Aeli

I delivered a guided journal therapy session in collaboration with Castle Haven Community Association and AELI, founded by Winnie Adkadjo. The session created a reflective and supportive space where participants were encouraged to explore their thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences through structured writing practices. Using a tailored presentation, the workshop supported self-expression, emotional awareness, and personal insight, offering practical tools that participants could continue using beyond the session.

Sustaining Our Purpose By Sustaining Ourselves

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH Do It Now Now & Esmee Fairbairn Foundation

New Pathway Narratives delivered a focused 90-minute workshop supporting professionals and busy individuals in managing their mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Through interactive writing exercises, participants explored and reframed their understanding of sustainability and wellbeing, reflecting on their current capacity for self-care.

The session guided attendees in developing practical, realistic strategies to build more balanced routines, encouraging time for reflection, rest, and restoration to support long-term resilience.

The Words We Struggle to Speak

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH Heal It Mastermind - Sept 2025

As a residential speaker for the Heal It Mastermind collective, Nadine led a session exploring the role of writing therapies in understanding belonging, identity, and communal expression.

Focusing on self-silencing, particularly within the Black Afro-Caribbean community, the session addressed challenges such as imposter syndrome, cultural silencing, and the importance of self-advocacy.

Through guided writing exercises, participants were supported in voicing their experiences, challenging internalised doubts, and strengthening a more empowered sense of self.

Whose Story Are You Raising?

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH Heal It Mastermind - May 2025

Nadine was invited as a featured speaker at the inaugural Heal It Mastermind event, marking the start of an ongoing collaboration with the collective. She delivered a focused and impactful workshop exploring the difference between living authentically and following inherited or imposed narratives.

Through guided reflection, participants revisited beliefs shaped by childhood, professional environments, and societal expectations, comparing these with their own sense of self. The session created space for deeper self-awareness, encouraging individuals to question patterns and consider how they show up within their families and communities. The workshop also explored identity, childhood experiences, and self-advocacy, supporting participants in bridging the gap between understanding themselves and moving towards healing, both personally and within the home.

The Self-Advocacy Series

Watch Webinar Session - Mayah's Legacy

shorter

In 2023, Nadine delivered two webinars in collaboration with Mayah’s Legacy, supporting women who have experienced challenges within maternal healthcare, including child loss, miscarriage, and pre-term labour. The sessions focused on strengthening self-advocacy, confidence, and emotional wellbeing among women of the diaspora. The first webinar centred on self-advocacy in healthcare, offering practical tools to help participants have their voices heard and respected. The second focused on self-awareness in communication, guiding participants to trust their intuition and develop greater confidence in expressing their needs across different areas of life.
