Reading Lessons

Lessons one and two of each week include information about that week's topic, with questions embedded to check students' understanding and help them apply the information to their own lives.


At the end of the reading, students complete a vocabulary task to focus on key terms and an activity to further apply the material.

Cooking Lesson

The third lesson within the week is when students build their cooking skills. Each cooking lesson features nutrient rich ingredients and connects to that week's material. Throughout the course, students will make twelve different breakfasts, snacks, and lunches.

Who We Are

We’re a mother–daughter team — a longtime homeschool mom and nutritionist, and an educator and curriculum designer — who share a love for teaching, cooking, and helping kids understand how food supports their bodies. We’re so excited to finally share this curriculum with families and co-ops as a practical, approachable way to bring meaningful nutrition learning into everyday life.
