This workshop is all about waves and isolations throughout the body. Blaine will be taking you through his cheats and tricks to get you slithering like a sexy serpent in the garden of Eden. A little arm movement, some chest isolations and last. He'll make sure those hips never lie! Then tie it all together with a short bit of chores. Totally off the pole and no experience required.

DROP N’ DASH (INT/ADV)

Bring power, momentum, and versatility to your dance practice in this intermediate to advanced class with Welch as she breaks down dynamic techniques including kicks, kips, drops, and dashes—foundational elements for the next evolution of heel-based movement. Designed for dancers looking to expand their technical repertoire, this class focuses on building strength, precision, and fluid transitions that elevate both choreography and hardstyle performance.

With an emphasis on safe progression and individual growth, Welch cultivates an empowering environment where students are encouraged to move with confidence, honor their bodies, and develop these dynamic skills at their own pace.

Prerequisites:

A strong foundation in pole and heels training is required. Students should also feel comfortable working upside down on the floor/inverts, including shoulder rolls and shoulder stands, and expect foundational dynamic movement such as kips, drops, and dashes. This class is best suited for dancers with an established heels foundation and strong body awareness.

DANCE INFERNO (INT/ADV)

Turn up the heat and take your dancing to the next level in this high-energy choreography class set to hard-hitting Hip-Hop, Rap, and Pop tracks. Designed for intermediate and advanced dancers, Dance Inferno blends challenge, creativity, and performance to help you grow both technically and artistically while learning dynamic, performance-driven routines.

You’ll train dynamic footwork, seamless transitions, and musicality across a variety of tempos—from smooth, controlled grooves to explosive full-out moments. Through intentional weight shifts, directional changes, and rhythm-driven movement, you’ll develop greater precision, versatility, and confidence while learning to embody the music with authenticity and style. Each class focuses on learning and refining choreography that encourages personal expression, performance quality, and strong execution.

Prerequisites:

Students should have strong foundational technique and feel confident with weight transfers in heels, pirouettes, and diamond floor transitions. Experience with dynamic elements such as kips, drops, and dashes is an asset.

Weird Shape Shit

These are a few of my favourite unusual things! This tricks-based workshop goes out to everyone who has ever reached out to me asking “What’s the key to holding X?”, “How on earth do you get into Y”, or “What the heck is Z?”. In this workshop we’ll be visiting some of my favourite go-to tricks! Expect progressions and variations for bui bui bend, twisted butterflies/ayeshas and lots of shape weirdness!

This workshop requires comfort in leg hangs, butterflies, brass monkey and elbow grip. There will be lots of progressions available above these baselines

Unconventional Transitions and Threadies

Never let them know your next move! In this workshop we will be combining static rotation with creative grip changes, thread throughs, inverts and other transitions to produce eye-catching movement that’ll leave the audience thinking *wait… what just happened* (like, in a good way). We will be learning a number of unique dynamic transitions and skills, with emphasis on rotations around and on the pole! This workshop is focused on both upright and inverted skills, and requires comfort in transitioning through leg hangs, butterflies, and brass monkey shapes. Familiarity with static rotation is a plus!
