Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 2 November 2026

1. Overview

R3GOLA WORKS supplies electronically delivered documentation, templates, forms, procedures, guidance files and other digital products. The contents, formats and edition of each purchase are described in the relevant product listing. Physical shipment is not included unless expressly stated.

2. No Discretionary Change-of-Mind Refunds

R3GOLA WORKS does not offer voluntary cooling-off periods or discretionary refunds, exchanges or store credit solely because a purchaser changes their mind, no longer needs the product, finds a different option or fails to review an accurate description before purchasing.

3. Digital Goods That Cannot Be Returned

Downloadable files can be saved and reproduced after delivery and cannot ordinarily be returned in the same manner as physical merchandise.

Where the facts of the transaction bring the goods within section 42(2)(f)(iii) of the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) — goods that by their nature cannot be returned — the seven-day cooling-off right in ECTA section 44 does not apply.

R3GOLA WORKS relies on that statutory exclusion where it applies; this policy does not claim that every digital-file transaction is automatically exempt.

4. Statutory Cancellation and Other Mandatory Rights

If a statutory cancellation right applies to a particular transaction, it remains available despite this policy.

Where ECTA section 44 applies and cancellation is valid, its statutory refund rules, including the 30-day refund period, will be followed.

ECTA section 43 also creates a separate potential cancellation remedy where specified supplier disclosures or pre-order review, correction and withdrawal facilities were not provided.

Nothing in this policy waives rights under ECTA, the Consumer Protection Act, applicable Australian Consumer Law or any other law that applies to a purchase.

5. Faulty, Missing or Materially Misdescribed Products

If a purchased file is missing, corrupted, materially different from its description or cannot reasonably be accessed or used as represented, we will investigate promptly and provide the remedy required by applicable law.

Where appropriate, we may offer a working download, corrected file or other suitable resolution, without limiting a mandatory entitlement to a refund or alternative remedy.

6. Duplicate Charges and Suspected Transaction Errors

We investigate reported duplicate charges, erroneous payments and non-delivery. Refunds or payment corrections will be made where legally or contractually required.

We may request proportionate order details or delivery information to verify the claim; submitting a request does not, by itself, establish an entitlement to a refund.

7. International Purchases

For sales to customers outside South Africa, mandatory consumer protections that apply to the transaction continue to apply.

In particular, R3GOLA WORKS does not voluntarily grant change-of-mind refunds to Australian online buyers, but will honour applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees and remedies.

No term in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
