As the founder of Hoos Coffee Consulting, Iteration.Coffee, and FernHill.Coffee, he specializes in helping roasters refine their craft through experimentation and data-driven insights. Rob is best known for his influential book Modulating the Flavor Profile of Coffee: One Roaster’s Manifesto.
Beyond consulting, Rob has developed online courses, mentorship programs, and a thriving coffee education community. His work is deeply rooted in continuous learning and exploration, bridging the gap between science and craft in specialty coffee.
