About Me
I am Lamont Spence, and Spence Heritage Press is my independent publishing house in Mount Vernon, New York.
I publish for the two ends of a life. Picture books that give a four year old words for what they are feeling, and large print books that give an eighty year old something to remember out loud. In between there is a detective series about a girl and a fox who solve small mysteries with kindness.
Every book is printed when you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is ever out of stock. If you are a school, a childcare center, a library or a senior program, write to me directly. I answer my own email.
