Ismail Hassan, ACCA, is a finance professional, educator, and Director of Finance with over a decade of experience in accounting, financial management, budgeting, and performance measurement. He holds ACCA membership, a Master's Degree in Accounting, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University.

Throughout his career, Ismail has worked across the healthcare, education, and aviation sectors, developing practical expertise in financial reporting, management accounting, strategic planning, and business performance improvement. In addition to his professional leadership roles, he has served as a lecturer, teaching accounting and management accounting to aspiring business and finance students.

Driven by a passion for simplifying complex accounting concepts, Ismail wrote Accounting Made Clear for Cambridge O Level Students to help learners build confidence, master fundamental accounting principles, and succeed in their examinations. As a first-time author, his goal is to make accounting accessible, practical, and engaging for students at all levels.

Based in the Maldives, Ismail is committed to promoting financial literacy and supporting the next generation of accounting professionals through education, mentorship, and lifelong learning.
