Kazaguruma Sashiko Pattern PDF — Pinwheel Embroidery Template
A printable, true-scale PDF template for the Kazaguruma "pinwheel" design, with clear, step-by-step instructions so you go from print to stitched piece without guesswork.
Kazaguruma means wind wheel, the familiar spinning paper pinwheel; bold tilted squares cross and spin across the cloth like a field of them. Honestly, this one isn't a documented historical design, we built it ourselves in the sashiko tradition and say so plainly.
Big, bold squares make for a satisfying, rhythmic stitch, good for a fast panel or cushion front where the scale can read from across the room.
