Yet in the CIPD's 2023 survey, 67% of working women with menopause symptoms said the effect on their work was mostly negative, and the Fawcett Society found that one in ten women who worked during menopause had left a job because of their symptoms.

APEX Menopause in the Workplace is a complete, ready to deliver training programme for HR, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and L&D teams. It equips line managers and employees to understand menopause, meet legal duties, hold supportive conversations, agree practical adjustments and build a culture where experienced people stay and thrive.

Why now

• The EHRC's 2024 guidance confirms that menopause symptoms can be protected under the Equality Act 2010 through sex, age and disability.
• Under the Employment Rights Act 2025, employers with 250 or more employees must publish an equality action plan including at least one menopause action, mandatory from April 2027.
• Manager training is one of the most effective actions, and this programme gives you the completion records, assessment scores and confidence data to evidence it.
