Level 3 Reading Programme

Our new Level 3 graded reader takes pupils on to learn less common sounds in more complex words. It widens the child's reading vocabulary in the true Reading Made Simple style, ensuring that the child does not meet a word for which the phonic knowledge to decode as not first been learnt.

Each sound is studied until the given words in the family are read fluently. A passage is then read as many times as needed until the child can read it fluently.

​There is no time limit for how long to learn each sound.

The passages contain a mix of fact, fiction and poetry.

Once a child has completed this book, s/he should be able to read most simple texts fluently, and be able to progress to longer and more complex tests.
