Three Views of the Otaru Canal – 3-Piece Original Hand-Painted Miniature Art Set
”Three Views of the Otaru Canal” set of 3 ACEO original paintings is by artist R.K. Gille, winner of Best of Show and the 1990 Kenai Art Guild Scholarship from the Kenai Art Guild in Kenai, Alaska. This miniature artwork set features watercolor paintings of three different views of the Otaru Canal in Otaru, Hokkaido Island, Japan. Each hand-painted piece measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches, and illustrates in careful detail three different locations along the waterfront. The first two horizontal pieces, one painted with Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints on Strathmore 400, the other painted with Mijello Mission Gold on Strathmore 400, depict a view from one of the bridges and a view from the seaside end of the canal near the fish market, respectively. The third piece is a vertical head-on closeup of one of the ivy-covered warehouse. Together they make a stylish 3-piece display of early Japanese architecture.
