Night Owls has a gorgeously simply candle shaped lace pattern to help us see at night, but also, if you turn the cowl upside down, you have a feather shaped pattern for us owls!? Knitted in the round this cowl will certainly keep you entertained and you'll have a pretty looking cowl to either gift yourself or to get ahead with your gift knitting.
Doubling Dunes is a beautifully soft design that has two sections of meandering sand cables to help the cowl gather elegantly around the neck. And if you want a touch of added luxury you can also take your DK yarn and a laceweight mohair and holding the two yarns together knit away merrily. The cowl is knitted flat and joined, this is the perfect evening and weekend project to curl up with.
Hip To Be Fancy Squared is great looking cowl that has a lovely subtle texture provided by the simple stocking and moss stitch block pattern. Knitted flat this is such a simple and quick pattern to knit, but it also packs a punch in as much as it looks great on anyone.
To knit all three of these patterns you will need 3 skeins of DK yarn (3x100g/225m). The yarn recommendations in each pattern are just that: recommendations. But you can use any DK yarn you like.
