A quick and cosy knit, Forester is inspired by a walk in the forest, and will provide ample warmth while you're there. I knit my sample at Christmas, and couldn't resist using a sparkle yarn in a rich spruce green for that tiny nod to the season.

Yarn: fingering + fingering + fingering, 960 yards (878 metres)
Needles: 5.5mm
Sizing: one size, +custom (any yarn weight)
Techniques: cast on (long tail); bind off (standard); knitting in the round; lace; yarn held triple (optional); cables
