Sock Three

This is my third own designed sock, I really need to find better names than just numbering them.

This sock is a top down construction with short row heel down to a kitchener stitch toe.

I have used Stylecraft Head over Heels yarn for this one but any 4ply sock yarn will do. The pattern is a basket weave which goes around the leg and continues onto the top of the foot only.

You will need between 320 and 340 yards of yarn depending on the foot length.

There are instructions for three different circumferences:

Small – 7.5 inches

Medium – 8.5 inches

Large – 9.5 inches

I give guidance on the amount of rows for the foot for UK sizes 5 to 8 with further information on other sides.

There are tick off charts throughout the pattern so if you choose to print you have somewhere to keep a track of your rows.
