Old Age - Lessons in Digital Literacy

Old age and ageism is something that impacts the lives of a huge number of people around the world. This lesson will help students to explore their own perceptions of old age and find out more about the problems and challenges of ageism. By engaging in this lesson, students will develop their vocabulary and their ability to give informed opinions about ageing, but it will also develop their ability to empathise with older people and develop a better understanding of their issues.

Aims:

• To develop students’ understanding of ageism and their ability to research and discuss the related issues.
