ANALYSIS OF DIFFICULT CONCEPT IN SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL PHYSICS CURRICULUM AS PERCEIVED BY TEACHERS IN ILE IFE CENTRAL OSUN STATE

The objective of this study was to investigate the factors influencing the occurrence of substance abuse among secondary school students in St. Charles High School, Osogbo, Osun State. WHO (2018), defines substance abuse as the harmful or hazardous use of psychoactive substances, including alcohol and illicit drugs. A self-structured questionnaire was administered to obtain information on the socio-demographic data of the respondents, their knowledge of the factors influencing the occurrence of drug abuse, school environment and drug abuse, family and drug abuse, and peer influence and drug abuse.

Data was computer-analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 23.0 version.
