Sun and Sea: Three Quilts, Three Flavors

Sun and Sea is a new pattern from experienced quilter Elizabeth Eastmond of OPQuilt.  Her website is a  popular place for those who are looking for designs from traditional to modern, using appliqué, piecing, English Paper-piecing, to name a few techniques.

This pattern was designed to be a quick finish, as well as expandable, in other words, all quilts can be larger -- or -- smaller than shown.  The Preview gives an overview of the three quilts (download from tab in upper right corner):

• Happy Valley is bordered in black and uses a tight spectrum of colors.
• Sun Falling Into Sea is a traditional wall-hanging with multiple borders, influenced by a trip to Japan
• Summer Snowcone is a fun blast of red, white, navy and sky blue, a fun variation of those traditional colors.
