A Midsummer Night's Dream is a very popular introduction to Shakespeare for children. Its magical story enchants children and the humour makes it even more accessible.
This lesson has been designed for older children (aged 7-16) and includes relaxation techniques such as breathing techniques and simple yoga poses as well as basic mindfulness strategies.
Mindfulness and relaxation have been proven to increase children's concentration, create a calm atmosphere and even increase attainment. It is a wonderful addition to any setting.

They also include a fun script for you to read through which incorporates all the techniques learned into an enjoyable, relaxing story which is completely age appropriate.
