Basic Elf / Fairy Panel Skirt Crochet Pattern

Who doesn't want to be a fairy or an elf? This crochet pattern is to make a cute "leaf" overskirt. It is constructed with panels for the skirt portion, and is designed so that you can either use one of the waistband versions in the pattern, or add the panels to your own creations. The ability to completely customize what you make from this pattern is limited only by your imagination and crochet skills.

There are no sizes, because you can make as many panels as you want, as large as you want, to size it as needed. The panels work up fast and easily.

This is suitable for intermediate beginners, and covers how to make the panels in 4-point, 5-point, 6-point, and 7-point sizes, how to make several varieties of waistbands, and how to make basic drawstrings.

Included is a very detailed and illustrated version of the directions, 36 pages long. I color-code the panel instructions by number of points. I also include one-page basic instructions for each of the 4 panels, so you can save or screenshot just the page you want.

I've also included hand-drawn charts for the 4 panels.

The pattern is a variation of a traditional starburst chevron design, but instead of stitching it in the round, you turn at each row.
