Etsy Seller Studio AI Starter — Listing Writer for SEO Titles, Descriptions & Tags
From AGENTORY — ready-to-use AI Task Kits. Drop in. Power up.
One agent from the Etsy Seller Studio kit — complete, nothing cut down. Works with the AI you already have: upload the file, tell it "Start", answer a few questions, and get to work.
One specialist shop-writing agent — running inside the AI you already use.
No new app. No subscription. This agent works with any AI chat — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, whichever you have (free versions work).
The Listing Writer writes every listing from your real facts only (8 calibration questions — your selling mode and category first, then, per product: what it is and what it's for, exactly what it's made of, its measurements and variations, its price and what the buyer receives, your care instructions and any performance figure you state with its conditions, the claims you stand behind and the words that must never appear, and who buys it and for what occasion). From those facts it produces six kinds of work: a full listing draft in one checkable package — a search-led title with its character count shown, a description that opens with the real product and its real use, a materials / attributes list, and exactly 13 tags, each with its character count, no duplicates and no wasted slots; an existing-listing rebuild (anything in the old listing your profile does not confirm is flagged, not carried over on faith); a title & tags refresh, with duplicates and repeated phrases removed and shown; a materials & attributes audit, line by line, with nothing silently corrected; variation & personalisation copy for only the options you actually offer; and a seasonal refresh using only confirmed facts and the season you name. Its hard lines, stated plainly: it never invents a product fact — a material, dimension, weight, scent component, era, condition detail, file format, or licence term you did not supply is "To confirm:", and a photo never becomes a material, a measurement, or a claim; it never upgrades your words into stronger claims (a fragrance-oil blend does not become "essential oils"; your estimate stays an estimate, with its condition); it prints no search-volume, ranking, or sales claim, because it has no access to Etsy's search data; and it never sets or "optimises" a price. The calibration branches by selling mode — handmade, vintage, and digital-download facts differ (materials and dimensions; era, condition, and provenance; file formats, delivery, and licence terms) — and it never assumes handmade. This agent is an advisor in both modes: Connected mode can improve its inputs (reading your connected product files and notes instead of asking you to retype them), but its deliverable is the draft, and you paste it into Shop Manager yourself. You need: one product's real facts, in your own words, and about ten minutes for the first draft.
How it works (about 5 minutes, once):
1. Add the agent file to your AI chat — upload the .md file, or on a phone, open the .txt version, copy it, and paste it in.
2. Type "Start".
3. Answer the agent's questions, one at a time. That's the calibration, and it's what makes the output fit YOUR shop.
4. Done — ask for what you need.
This is the Starter edition: ONE agent, complete — the same file as in the full kit, nothing cut down. It includes the shared Shop Profile (fill it once, paste it into any new chat, skip the interview), a prompt sheet with the exact phrases for this agent, a plain-language guide to what AI can and cannot do, and troubleshooting help.
Two ways to work — your choice, per session. Run this agent in a regular AI chat (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) and it works in Guide mode: it creates and edits the complete deliverables right in the chat — the publish-ready text itself, never outlines or pieces for you to assemble — and guides you through the steps inside outside tools and accounts, which you perform and check yourself. Run the same file on an agentic AI — Muse, Claude Code, Devin, and similar — and Connected mode is real for your own files and email: if you want, it walks you through connecting a tool through the platform's own sign-in or connector flow and can then work in that tool with your approval at each consequential step, verifying as it goes. Same agent, same rules — what changes is what your platform lets it do. You pick the mode every time; guidance is always available and always complete. One honest boundary, by this kit's design, in both modes: Etsy itself is never connected — no agent posts, sends, or changes anything inside Etsy, and Etsy Messages have no route at all. The agent drafts; you paste, publish, and send in Etsy yourself.
What's inside:
- The one agent, in .md AND .txt format (identical content)
- Prompt Sheet for this agent — the exact phrases for every job
- My Shop Profile — the full profile; the sections for the other agents are already in it, so upgrading later means no new setup
- AI Limitations Disclaimer (.md + .txt)
- Starter README — step-by-step setup
- Troubleshooting & FAQ
What you need:
- An AI chat account of your own (free versions work for the guided work)
- Your own Etsy shop
- Agent-specific notes are in the per-agent block below
Want the rest of the set later? The other three agents complete the kit (Standalone, $49). Starter owners upgrade for $30 — the difference — and the Shop Profile you fill in here already covers the other agents, so there is no new setup.
Honest limits:
Each agent is a text instruction file for your existing AI — it is not a trained AI model, not a separate app, not listing software, and not an Etsy integration. What it can do depends on where you run it: in a chat-only AI it guides and drafts — creating and editing the complete deliverables right in the chat — and you perform only the actions inside your outside tools and accounts; on an agentic AI it can also work in the tools you choose to connect — your files, documents, spreadsheets, or email for off-Etsy correspondence — always showing you the exact action first, always with your approval before anything consequential, and never unattended. Etsy itself is never one of those tools, in either mode: the agent drafts publish-ready text and you paste, publish, and send it yourself in Shop Manager and Etsy Messages. Connections are made through your platform's own secure sign-in and key flows — the agent never asks for, receives, or stores a password, API key, or login, and a secret pasted into a chat gets one answer: change it now. File work done for you runs through git, so a failed step rolls back to the last verified one. This kit's spine holds in both modes: no product fact, claim, price, offer, deadline, or stock statement is ever invented — what you did not supply is listed as "To confirm:" — every external action is gated by your approval of the exact draft, and your Shop Profile is the only system of record. No agent in this kit promises a ranking, a view count, or a sales result. (Agent-specific limits are in the per-agent block below.)
One honest expectation: this kit is a plain-text instruction file, and it loads in any AI you already use — but the AI you run it on sets the quality. The agent's rules, questions, and output formats are fixed in the file; how deeply and consistently your AI follows them depends on your model and on how much it can hold in one session, so a weaker or free-tier model may shorten, skip, or drift where a strong current model stays exact. AI tools, models and context lengths all affect the final results — and trying different tools may help you find the best one for your needs; the same file, unchanged, often does better on a stronger model. The full disclaimer in your download explains this properly and shows how to get the best from whatever AI you have.
