Etsy Seller Studio AI Starter — Buyer Care for Buyer Messages & Review Replies
From AGENTORY — ready-to-use AI Task Kits. Drop in. Power up.
One agent from the Etsy Seller Studio kit — complete, nothing cut down. Works with the AI you already have: upload the file, tell it "Start", answer a few questions, and get to work.
One specialist shop-writing agent — running inside the AI you already use.
No new app. No subscription. This agent works with any AI chat — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, whichever you have (free versions work).
Buyer Care drafts the replies you send to buyers — in your voice, from your approved answers, and from nothing else (7 calibration questions: your voice, sign-off, and typical reply length; your message-checking days and hours and the response time you state to buyers; your most-often buyer questions with your approved answer to each; the remedies you approve — a replacement, a resend, a refund — with their exact conditions; what must always stop and come straight to you; the phrases, apologies, and promises that must never appear in your shop's name; and the languages you answer in). It produces six kinds of work: pre-purchase reply drafts from confirmed listing facts only (an unconfirmed answer becomes a "To confirm:" note to you, never a guess at a material, a size, or a safety claim); order-problem drafts built strictly inside your approved remedies and their exact conditions; review reply drafts; triage of a batch of pasted messages into a draft queue; de-escalation drafts for unhappy messages that have not crossed your line; and the approved-answer library, which accepts an entry only from a reply you actually sent or approved verbatim. Its hard lines, stated plainly: the escalation spine — a refund demand beyond your approved remedies, a case or case threat, a chargeback, a threat, abuse, or a safety or legal claim stops the drafting entirely; you get a factual summary and the thread, with no draft and no promised outcome, because a drafted promise inside a dispute can cost your shop money. No review manipulation, ever: no draft asks for, rewards, conditions, or steers a review, and public review replies follow a fixed order — a private message to the buyer first, a public response last, only with your approval of its exact text and a printed warning that a public response can be posted only once, cannot be edited, and locks the buyer's review; "no public reply is better here" is a valid output, with its reason. Buyer messages are for service, not marketing — a request to message past buyers about a sale is refused and rerouted to Etsy's own sale and offer tools. And the Etsy limit that shapes this agent: it never sends anything into Etsy, in any mode — Etsy Messages have no connector and no route, so you paste the messages this agent works from, and you copy, check, and send every reply yourself, inside Etsy; in Connected mode it can additionally read and draft in a connected mailbox only where correspondence genuinely runs through that mailbox, never as a route into Etsy. You need: the messages themselves, pasted in, and your approved remedies and escalation line, set once in calibration.
How it works (about 5 minutes, once):
1. Add the agent file to your AI chat — upload the .md file, or on a phone, open the .txt version, copy it, and paste it in.
2. Type "Start".
3. Answer the agent's questions, one at a time. That's the calibration, and it's what makes the output fit YOUR shop.
4. Done — ask for what you need.
This is the Starter edition: ONE agent, complete — the same file as in the full kit, nothing cut down. It includes the shared Shop Profile (fill it once, paste it into any new chat, skip the interview), a prompt sheet with the exact phrases for this agent, a plain-language guide to what AI can and cannot do, and troubleshooting help.
Two ways to work — your choice, per session. Run this agent in a regular AI chat (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) and it works in Guide mode: it creates and edits the complete deliverables right in the chat — the publish-ready text itself, never outlines or pieces for you to assemble — and guides you through the steps inside outside tools and accounts, which you perform and check yourself. Run the same file on an agentic AI — Muse, Claude Code, Devin, and similar — and Connected mode is real for your own files and email: if you want, it walks you through connecting a tool through the platform's own sign-in or connector flow and can then work in that tool with your approval at each consequential step, verifying as it goes. Same agent, same rules — what changes is what your platform lets it do. You pick the mode every time; guidance is always available and always complete. One honest boundary, by this kit's design, in both modes: Etsy itself is never connected — no agent posts, sends, or changes anything inside Etsy, and Etsy Messages have no route at all. The agent drafts; you paste, publish, and send in Etsy yourself.
What's inside:
- The one agent, in .md AND .txt format (identical content)
- Prompt Sheet for this agent — the exact phrases for every job
- My Shop Profile — the full profile; the sections for the other agents are already in it, so upgrading later means no new setup
- AI Limitations Disclaimer (.md + .txt)
- Starter README — step-by-step setup
- Troubleshooting & FAQ
What you need:
- An AI chat account of your own (free versions work for the guided work)
- Your own Etsy shop
- Agent-specific notes are in the per-agent block below
Want the rest of the set later? The other three agents complete the kit (Standalone, $49). Starter owners upgrade for $30 — the difference — and the Shop Profile you fill in here already covers the other agents, so there is no new setup.
Honest limits:
Each agent is a text instruction file for your existing AI — it is not a trained AI model, not a separate app, not listing software, and not an Etsy integration. What it can do depends on where you run it: in a chat-only AI it guides and drafts — creating and editing the complete deliverables right in the chat — and you perform only the actions inside your outside tools and accounts; on an agentic AI it can also work in the tools you choose to connect — your files, documents, spreadsheets, or email for off-Etsy correspondence — always showing you the exact action first, always with your approval before anything consequential, and never unattended. Etsy itself is never one of those tools, in either mode: the agent drafts publish-ready text and you paste, publish, and send it yourself in Shop Manager and Etsy Messages. Connections are made through your platform's own secure sign-in and key flows — the agent never asks for, receives, or stores a password, API key, or login, and a secret pasted into a chat gets one answer: change it now. File work done for you runs through git, so a failed step rolls back to the last verified one. This kit's spine holds in both modes: no product fact, claim, price, offer, deadline, or stock statement is ever invented — what you did not supply is listed as "To confirm:" — every external action is gated by your approval of the exact draft, and your Shop Profile is the only system of record. No agent in this kit promises a ranking, a view count, or a sales result. (Agent-specific limits are in the per-agent block below.)
One honest expectation: this kit is a plain-text instruction file, and it loads in any AI you already use — but the AI you run it on sets the quality. The agent's rules, questions, and output formats are fixed in the file; how deeply and consistently your AI follows them depends on your model and on how much it can hold in one session, so a weaker or free-tier model may shorten, skip, or drift where a strong current model stays exact. AI tools, models and context lengths all affect the final results — and trying different tools may help you find the best one for your needs; the same file, unchanged, often does better on a stronger model. The full disclaimer in your download explains this properly and shows how to get the best from whatever AI you have.
