Etsy Seller Studio AI Starter — Promo Planner for Sale Calendars, Coupons & Captions
From AGENTORY — ready-to-use AI Task Kits. Drop in. Power up.
One agent from the Etsy Seller Studio kit — complete, nothing cut down. Works with the AI you already have: upload the file, tell it "Start", answer a few questions, and get to work.
One specialist shop-writing agent — running inside the AI you already use.
No new app. No subscription. This agent works with any AI chat — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, whichever you have (free versions work).
The Promo Planner builds a promotion rhythm tied to your real listings (7 calibration questions: your hero, seasonal, and slow-mover listings by name; the offers you are willing to run, in your own terms, the listings each applies to, and which listings are never discounted; your key real dates — restocks, markets, launches, and the last-order dates you state; which products belong to which season and the months you want each pushed; the channels you actually use, the cadence you can realistically keep, and your format; how you name coupon codes and any codes already live, with their terms; and your promotion never-do list, plus the stock fact you will give before a listing is promoted). It produces six kinds of work: a seasonal calendar, month by month, that leaves months with no supplied facts visibly empty instead of filling them with generic retail dates; a single sale & coupon draft set for one offer you supplied — sale wording, coupon wording only if you named a code and its terms, the exact listings it applies to, and your setup steps in Shop Manager; listing-tied social captions built from that listing's confirmed facts, in your shop's voice, at your cadence; a launch & restock sequence dated by your facts, with nothing announced before your date; a slow-mover plan that checks the listing and the FAQ gap first — a discount enters only if you supply an offer, and no reason for slow sales is asserted without evidence you supplied; and a promo review that records what ran only from your own report, labeled seller-reported every time it is used. Its hard lines, stated plainly: the fake-discount ban — no "was" price unless the item was genuinely offered at that price, no raising a price to manufacture a discount, and no invented scarcity or urgency: no "only a few left", "selling fast", or countdown wording unless you supplied that exact stock fact or deadline for that listing; it never invents a discount, coupon code, price, stock quantity, or deadline — a plan in which you named no coupon contains no coupon, and says so; a listing is promoted only after you give its stock fact; copy never implies that overlapping discounts stack; and it promises no result — no claim that a sale or caption will boost sales, views, or ranking. Promotions never go out through Etsy Messages. In both modes this agent is an advisor: sale and coupon setup in Shop Manager is your hands, and posting a caption is your click; Connected mode can improve its inputs (reading your real dates and listing facts from connected files) and, where a design tool is genuinely connected, make a graphic around your listing — never a substitute presented as product photography. You need: your listings by name, your offers in your own terms, and a stock fact for any listing you want promoted.
How it works (about 5 minutes, once):
1. Add the agent file to your AI chat — upload the .md file, or on a phone, open the .txt version, copy it, and paste it in.
2. Type "Start".
3. Answer the agent's questions, one at a time. That's the calibration, and it's what makes the output fit YOUR shop.
4. Done — ask for what you need.
This is the Starter edition: ONE agent, complete — the same file as in the full kit, nothing cut down. It includes the shared Shop Profile (fill it once, paste it into any new chat, skip the interview), a prompt sheet with the exact phrases for this agent, a plain-language guide to what AI can and cannot do, and troubleshooting help.
Two ways to work — your choice, per session. Run this agent in a regular AI chat (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) and it works in Guide mode: it creates and edits the complete deliverables right in the chat — the publish-ready text itself, never outlines or pieces for you to assemble — and guides you through the steps inside outside tools and accounts, which you perform and check yourself. Run the same file on an agentic AI — Muse, Claude Code, Devin, and similar — and Connected mode is real for your own files and email: if you want, it walks you through connecting a tool through the platform's own sign-in or connector flow and can then work in that tool with your approval at each consequential step, verifying as it goes. Same agent, same rules — what changes is what your platform lets it do. You pick the mode every time; guidance is always available and always complete. One honest boundary, by this kit's design, in both modes: Etsy itself is never connected — no agent posts, sends, or changes anything inside Etsy, and Etsy Messages have no route at all. The agent drafts; you paste, publish, and send in Etsy yourself.
What's inside:
- The one agent, in .md AND .txt format (identical content)
- Prompt Sheet for this agent — the exact phrases for every job
- My Shop Profile — the full profile; the sections for the other agents are already in it, so upgrading later means no new setup
- AI Limitations Disclaimer (.md + .txt)
- Starter README — step-by-step setup
- Troubleshooting & FAQ
What you need:
- An AI chat account of your own (free versions work for the guided work)
- Your own Etsy shop
- Agent-specific notes are in the per-agent block below
Want the rest of the set later? The other three agents complete the kit (Standalone, $49). Starter owners upgrade for $30 — the difference — and the Shop Profile you fill in here already covers the other agents, so there is no new setup.
Honest limits:
Each agent is a text instruction file for your existing AI — it is not a trained AI model, not a separate app, not listing software, and not an Etsy integration. What it can do depends on where you run it: in a chat-only AI it guides and drafts — creating and editing the complete deliverables right in the chat — and you perform only the actions inside your outside tools and accounts; on an agentic AI it can also work in the tools you choose to connect — your files, documents, spreadsheets, or email for off-Etsy correspondence — always showing you the exact action first, always with your approval before anything consequential, and never unattended. Etsy itself is never one of those tools, in either mode: the agent drafts publish-ready text and you paste, publish, and send it yourself in Shop Manager and Etsy Messages. Connections are made through your platform's own secure sign-in and key flows — the agent never asks for, receives, or stores a password, API key, or login, and a secret pasted into a chat gets one answer: change it now. File work done for you runs through git, so a failed step rolls back to the last verified one. This kit's spine holds in both modes: no product fact, claim, price, offer, deadline, or stock statement is ever invented — what you did not supply is listed as "To confirm:" — every external action is gated by your approval of the exact draft, and your Shop Profile is the only system of record. No agent in this kit promises a ranking, a view count, or a sales result. (Agent-specific limits are in the per-agent block below.)
One honest expectation: this kit is a plain-text instruction file, and it loads in any AI you already use — but the AI you run it on sets the quality. The agent's rules, questions, and output formats are fixed in the file; how deeply and consistently your AI follows them depends on your model and on how much it can hold in one session, so a weaker or free-tier model may shorten, skip, or drift where a strong current model stays exact. AI tools, models and context lengths all affect the final results — and trying different tools may help you find the best one for your needs; the same file, unchanged, often does better on a stronger model. The full disclaimer in your download explains this properly and shows how to get the best from whatever AI you have.
