The Etsy Seller Studio AI Kit — 4 Ready-To-Use AI Agents for Listings, Shop Story, Buyer Messages & Promotions
From AGENTORY — ready-to-use AI Task Kits. Drop in. Power up.
Works with the AI you already have. Upload one file, tell it "Start", answer a few questions — then write listings from your real facts only, make your story, policies and FAQ agree, answer buyers from approved answers, and promote on a calendar tied to real listings. You paste into Etsy yourself; no invented facts, discounts, or scarcity, ever.
Four specialist agents that take your shop writing from "written by hand, from memory, re-checked every time" to one written profile of real facts — running inside the AI you already use.
No new app. No subscription. These agents work with any AI chat — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, whichever you have (free versions work).
How it works (about 5 minutes per agent, once):
1. Add the agent file to your AI chat — upload the .md file, or on a phone, open the .txt version, copy it, and paste it in.
2. Type "Start".
3. Answer the agent's questions, one at a time — your selling mode, your products' real facts, your stated policies, your approved answers, your offers. That's the calibration, and it's what makes the output fit YOUR shop.
4. Save the complete updated Shop Profile each agent hands back to you — the agent keeps it current in the chat and returns it whole, never as pieces for you to assemble — and the next agent starts from your real shop.
Use the agents in order — then run the rhythm:
1. Listing Writer — drafts every listing from your confirmed facts only: a search-led title with its character count shown, a description that opens with the real product, a materials / attributes list containing only what you confirmed, and exactly 13 tags, each counted, with no duplicates and no wasted slots. Every missing fact is listed as "To confirm:" instead of filled in. It also rebuilds existing listings, refreshes titles and tags, audits materials line by line, writes variation and personalisation copy for the options you actually offer, and refreshes listings for a season you name. Its calibration asks whether you sell handmade, vintage, digital downloads, or a mix — because the facts that matter differ — and never assumes handmade.
2. Shop Storyteller — writes your shop-level pages in one voice: an About section, a current shop announcement, policy drafts, and an FAQ built from the questions buyers actually ask your shop. Policy drafts start from YOUR stated stance, in your words — checked for consistency with each other and with Etsy's policy framework, with every conflict flagged to you, never silently resolved, and never presented as legal advice.
3. Buyer Care — drafts replies to buyer messages and reviews in your shop's voice, from your approved answers, strictly inside the remedies you approved and their exact conditions. Escalation cases — refunds beyond your stated stance, cases, chargebacks, threats, abuse — stop the drafting and hand the thread to you, with no draft solution and no promised outcome.
4. Promo Planner — builds a promotion rhythm tied to real listings: a seasonal calendar from your real listings, stock facts, and dates (months with no supplied facts left visibly empty), sale and coupon draft sets where every figure traces to an offer you supplied, and social captions tied to named listings — no discount, deadline, or scarcity claim that is not true of your shop.
Two cross-checks are built in: product-level facts belong to the Listing Writer only — the Storyteller's FAQ and the Promo Planner's captions use them from your profile and hand gaps back, never re-deriving a material, dimension, or claim — and Buyer Care's approved remedies are checked against the Storyteller's policy section before either is finalised; if they disagree, both agents flag it and neither version is treated as settled until you settle it.
Two ways to work — your choice, per session. Run an agent in a regular AI chat (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) and it works in Guide mode: it drafts publish-ready text — listings, policies, message drafts, promo plans — and you paste it into Shop Manager, check it, and publish or send it yourself. Run the same file on an agentic AI — Muse, Claude Code, Devin, and similar — and Connected mode is real for your own files and email: if you want, the agent walks you through connecting a tool through the platform's own sign-in or connector flow, and can then work with your listing trackers and draft documents (Drive, Docs, Sheets), draft off-Etsy correspondence in your email (Gmail — a wholesale enquiry, a press reply), or make a graphic around a listing in a connected design tool — always showing you the exact action first, always with your approval, verifying as it goes. Same agents, same rules — what changes is what your platform lets them do. You pick the mode every time; guidance is always available and always complete. One honest boundary, by this kit's design, that does not change in either mode: Etsy itself is never connected. No agent posts, sends, or changes anything inside Etsy — not a listing, not a buyer message, not a review response, not a sale — in any mode, on any platform. Etsy Messages have no route at all: replies are drafted in the chat, and you copy, check, and send every one yourself, inside Etsy.
Not sure what your AI can actually do? Each agent starts by telling you which platform it is running on and what it can really do in this session — its actual tools, not the brand name. The kit also includes a short, plain-language guide to AI limitations, with a dated annex (2026-10-30) listing which platforms can act and which only guide, and what each can really do with this kit's tools — Etsy Shop Manager, Etsy Messages, Gmail, Google Drive/Docs/Sheets, Canva, and social platforms — so you always know where you stand.
A realistic first session: with the Listing Writer you get a complete listing draft for one real product of yours — title, description, materials list, and all 13 tags — with every fact you did not supply listed as "To confirm:" instead of invented, ready to check line by line and paste into Etsy yourself. That is the first session — not a connected shop, not a published listing. Publishing is your step, in Shop Manager, after your check, and this listing won't pretend shop writing is a 10-minute job beyond that first draft.
What's inside:
- 4 agent files, each in .md AND .txt format (identical content — one of them always works on your device, phone included)
- My Shop Profile — fill it in once (agents help you), paste it into any new chat, skip the interviews; it doubles as your shop's written record: product and listing facts, shop story and policies, buyer-care voice and approved answers, promotion facts and calendar
- Prompt Sheet — the exact phrases to say to each agent, for every job, including the approval phrases
- AI Limitations Disclaimer (.md + .txt) — what AI can and cannot do, in plain language, with this kit's tools as the examples, including the honest Etsy position above
- A step-by-step README that gets you running in minutes
- Troubleshooting & FAQ — an invented material and how to correct it, Etsy changing a field or limit, an agent offering to "just post it": the known rough edges and their fixes
- Changelog — what changed in this version
Who it's for:
- Etsy sellers — handmade, vintage, or digital-download — running a real shop alone or with one helper, who write every listing, policy, reply, and promotion by hand, from memory
- Sellers who want their listings built from facts they can stand behind, their shop pages agreeing with each other, and their buyer replies drafted from approved answers instead of from scratch
- Anyone who has been burned by fluent AI copy full of materials they don't use and claims they can't support, and would rather see a gap marked "To confirm:" than filled in
Who it's NOT for:
- Anyone looking for an Etsy integration or software that runs their shop in the background — this kit never posts, sends, or changes anything inside Etsy, in any mode, and nothing runs unattended
- Anyone who wants a promised ranking, view count, or sales result — no agent in this kit can see Etsy's search data, and none will claim a keyword has search volume or predict what a change will sell
- Anyone who wants disputes handled for them, discounts manufactured, or reviews steered — escalation cases go to the human, fake discounts are banned, and review manipulation is banned, without exception
What you need:
- An AI chat account of your own (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or any other — free versions work for the guided work)
- Your own Etsy shop, and your real shop facts — your products' materials, measurements, and prices as you sell them today; the agents' interviews walk you through supplying them
- Optional, only for Connected mode: your own connected files, documents, spreadsheets, or email (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail), or a connected design tool — for work around your listings. Etsy itself is never one of the connected tools
Honest limits:
Each agent is a text instruction file for your existing AI — it is not a trained AI model, not a separate app, not listing software, and not an Etsy integration. What it can do depends on where you run it: in a chat-only AI it guides and drafts — creating and editing the complete deliverables right in the chat — and you perform only the actions inside your outside tools and accounts; on an agentic AI it can also work in the tools you choose to connect — your files, documents, spreadsheets, email for off-Etsy correspondence, a connected design tool — always showing you the exact action first, always with your approval before anything is sent, published, deleted, or spent, and never unattended. Etsy itself is the standing exception in both modes: there is no consumer "connect your Etsy" route for a chat AI, so your listings, messages, sales, and shop settings are set up by YOU in Shop Manager and Etsy Messages, every time, and this kit's draft-and-paste pattern is the kit working as designed, not a lesser version of it. (One advanced path exists for technical owners only: registering your own Etsy developer app and building your own OAuth connection for your own shop — a project you build and own, not a feature of this kit, not a one-click setup, and with no route to Etsy Messages even then.) Connections are made through your platform's own secure sign-in and key flows — the agents never ask for, receive, or store a password or secret key, and a secret pasted into a chat gets one answer: change it now. File work done for you runs through git, so a failed step rolls back to the last verified one; actions that leave your systems (a sent email, a posted caption) can't be undone, which is why they're approved one by one — and why the paste into Etsy is always yours. This kit's spine holds in both modes: no product fact, claim, price, offer, deadline, or stock statement is ever invented — what you did not supply is listed as "To confirm:" — and nothing is published, sent, or posted anywhere without your approval of the exact draft. Two bans specific to this kit, stated plainly: no fake discounts — no inflated "was" prices, no perpetual sales presented as ending, no "only a few left", "selling fast", or countdown wording unless you supplied that exact stock fact or deadline for that listing; and no review manipulation — no draft asks for, rewards, conditions, or steers a review, argues with a reviewer in public, or offers anything in exchange for changing one. The agents also never set, raise, discount, or "optimise" a price — they draft wording for prices and offers you supplied, exactly as supplied — and platform facts (field limits, fee categories, sale and coupon mechanics) are stated as verified on 2026-10-30 or flagged unverified, because Etsy changes them; your live Shop Manager screen wins over any dated figure in this kit. The agents' worked examples follow one illustrative example persona created for this kit to show the formats end to end — an illustration, not a customer story. You check every output before you rely on it.
One honest expectation: this kit is a plain-text instruction file, and it loads in any AI you already use — but the AI you run it on sets the quality. The agent's rules, questions, and output formats are fixed in the file; how deeply and consistently your AI follows them depends on your model and on how much it can hold in one session, so a weaker or free-tier model may shorten, skip, or drift where a strong current model stays exact. AI tools, models and context lengths all affect the final results — and trying different tools may help you find the best one for your needs; the same file, unchanged, often does better on a stronger model. The full disclaimer in your download explains this properly and shows how to get the best from whatever AI you have.
