KNOWLEDGE AND COMPLIANCE OF IMMUNIZATION OF CHILDREN FROM 0-5 YEARS AMONG WOMEN LIVING IN EMAUDO COMMUNITY, EKPOMA, EDO STATE NIGERIA

The objective of this study to establish the level of knowledge and compliance to childhood immunization schedule to children from 0-5 years among women in Emaudo Community. A descriptive research design was used for this study. Purposive sampling was used to select and cluster sampling was used to select the number of women in Emaudo community. Simple random sampling was used to select the study participants.

The specific objectives of this study are to assess the level of knowledge of immunization among women living; to determine the level of compliance with the immunization schedule among women; to identify the factors that influence knowledge and compliance of immunization among women living in Emaudo community, Ekpoma, Edo State Nigeria.
