Lyrides
DESCRIPTION
Lyrides is a top-down raglan with a lace hem, henley neckline, and twisted-rib details, knit in a single strand of lace-weight silk mohair yarn. Inspired by the radiant streaks of the annual meteor shower that occurs every April, this ethereal addition to your handmade wardrobe captures the magic of fleeting light against the dark night sky.
Designed with decorative median increases at the raglan lines, the sweater allows you to choose between long bishop sleeves that gather softly at the cuff or breezy short sleeves for a lighter option. A delicate lace motif reminiscent of shooting stars graces the hem. The timeless henley neckline and button plackets are done in twisted ribbing and include mitered increases for crisp corners.
Lyrides comes in 10 sizes (XS–6X) and includes instructions for vertical bust darts. The pattern provides both written and charted lace instructions and includes measurements in metric and US units.
