Happō-en Gardens: A Historic Japanese Landscape for Weddings and Banquets
The Happō-en gardens in Tokyo have been a tranquil venue for traditional Japanese weddings and banquets. Built in the early 17th century, the garden features a natural stream and bonsai trees, some over 100 years old. Fusanosuke Kuhara remodeled the garden in 1915, adding most of the current buildings, including a kaiseki restaurant with stunning views of the garden and a tea house for enjoying green tea and sweets.
