Understanding and Developing the Shoulder-In
UNDERSTANDING & DEVELOPING THE SHOULDER-IN
The shoulder-in is an excellent exercise for developing the suppleness in the quarters, improving the lateral bend and developing the responsiveness to the aids. This lesson focuses on some specific exercises at Novice/Elementary level to help you develop a correct and accurate shoulder-in.
Your trainer for this lesson is Kim Ratcliffe, a British Dressage trainer and List 1 Dressage Judge.
This session is 19 minutes and 36 seconds in length, and is designed to be listened to whilst you are riding your horse. You should ensure that you and your horse are warmed up before starting this lesson. Lessons are optimised for use in a 20m x 40m arena.
