TME Performance Rounders Years 10–11 | Ages 14–16 | KS4

TME Performance Rounders is a seven-lesson Scheme of Learning for Years 10–11 Core PE. It develops accurate striking and fielding alongside intelligent running, tactical field placement, match management and responsible officiating.

Pupils begin with throwing, catching and ground fielding before developing controlled batting power and shot placement. The programme then covers legal bowling, backstop responsibilities and batting rules. Pupils explore base fielding and running decisions, followed by tactical field setting, scoring and umpiring. Full-sided match play, assessment, competitive innings, tactical fielding and performance review complete the sequence.

The 16-page resource contains two curriculum and assessment pages, seven one-page lesson plans and seven matching lesson infographics. The opening pages provide curriculum context, progression, Know and Show outcomes, vocabulary, inclusive delivery and Head–Heart–Hands assessment descriptors.

Every lesson provides:

The scheme allows pupils to experience the full game while developing the technical, tactical and leadership qualities needed to participate successfully.
