What is Krokbragd?

Krokbragd is a Scandinavian weaving technique that gives as result thick, compact and multicolored textiles. Scandinavian women used to wove rugs, blankets and tapestries with this technique, among other homely textiles for the daily life. I always say that Krokbragd is kind of the fair isle knitting technique but for looms.

It's very interesting because with the same sequence that always repeats itself, by just changing colours you can create an unlimited variety of designs. It's magical and really impressive!

Who is this ebook oriented to?

It's oriented to weavers who already have a basic knowledge about frame loom (how to warp it, how to tabby weave, extract textile from loom, basic terms such as warp, weft, beat, etc.).
