One more pattern to add to your Krokbragd Collection? Yes, please!

In this occasion I'm bringing the winter vibes to the center with this new Krokbragd pattern to weave a bookmark on your frame loom.

This pattern includes 7 different motifs that, of course, you can reuse to weave other projects.

- Snowman

- Polar bear

- Fox

- Cross + dots

- Tree

- House

- Starry sky

Plus simple horizontal lines

This downloadable PDF is 17 pages that include mainly an overview of the pattern, the pattern itself divided in 7 parts to make your weaving process more easygoing, the textile data sheet and a list of tools and materials (also listed here).

All motifs are designed on a grid that are easy to follow, row by row, with a color guide per row and checkbox marks to keep track of your weaving process.

Nevetherless, It's important to note this pattern doesn't include instructions on how the Krokbragd technique works (it's sequence, how to cross/interlock colors on the selvedges) so if you are just getting started I highly recommend other patterns or ebooks available in my shop that have full instructions about the theory.

You can also check my Youtube channel where I have several videos about Krokbragd (both in English and Spanish with english subtitles) if you want to give it a look before getting this pattern >> www.youtube.com/c/nushutextiles

What is Krokbragd?

Krokbragd is a Scandinavian weaving technique that gives as result thick, compact and multicolored textiles. Scandinavian women used to wove rugs, blankets and tapestries with this technique, among other homely textiles for the daily life. I always say that Krokbragd is kind of the colorwork technique used for knitting but make it for looms.

It's very interesting because with the same repeating sequence, by just changing the colors you can create an unlimited variety of designs. It's really magical and impressive!

Who is this ebook oriented to?

It's oriented to weavers who already have a basic knowledge about frame loom (how to warp it, how to tabby weave, extract textile from loom, basic terms such as warp, weft, beat, etc.).
