Aya Sugi Sashiko Pattern PDF — Cedar Twill Herringbone Embroidery Template
A printable, true-scale PDF template for the Aya Sugi "cedar twill" design, with clear, step-by-step instructions so you go from print to stitched piece without guesswork.
Aya sugi joins aya, a twill weave, and sugi, cedar, for mirrored chevrons that echo the diagonal grain of cedar boughs; it's one of the more thinly documented patterns in the shop, and we say so plainly rather than dressing up a meaning it doesn't have on record.
Classic white on indigo, or any high-contrast pair, a steady columnar repeat that suits a long panel or runner.
