Amimon Sashiko Pattern PDF — Fishing Net Embroidery Template
✦ Amimon (Fishing Net): Japanese Sashiko Pattern ✦
A printable, true-scale PDF for one family of wavy running-stitch rows, each nesting into the one above it without touching.
Amime, the fishing net pattern, appears on pottery from the Jomon period and became a favorite on Edo-period textiles and everyday goods. A net that holds its catch reads as tairyo, abundant fortune, its unbroken mesh a ward against what would otherwise slip through.
