The Bush Wattle Shawl is part of the Botanic Park Collection - 3 crescent shaped shawls all inspired by gardening, and featuring yarns by Australian independent dyers. The other 2 shawls in the collection are the Garden Sprout Shawl and Trelliswork Shawl.

Wattle is one of the most iconic sights in Australia, with the plants producing bundles of golden orb-like flowers in the spring. The small bobbles featured on the shawl reference these flowers, whilst the cable border mimics the intertwining branches holding them out for us to enjoy.
