Full description

For sports bar owners and managers who run match nights and want to know which events pay. Grade each fixture A, B or C, and the workbook forecasts covers from the weekday, daypart and uplift, limits them to seats and turns, and works out servers, bartenders, cooks and door staff, hours and labour cost. A narrow special menu is priced per cover. After the match, enter the actual covers, sales, labour hours and promotion spend, and each event becomes a P&L with contribution against a normal night, promotion return, break-even covers, labour %, forecast accuracy and a review status. The Word guide gives the countdown checklists, the briefing script, the promotion rules and the review form.

FAQ

How does it forecast covers?

It takes the baseline covers for the weekday and daypart, multiplies by the uplift for the grade, and limits the result to seats times turns. All three come from Settings.

What counts as promotion cost?

Discounts and giveaways, marketing spend, licence or entertainment, and labour hours above a normal night at the same baseline.

How is promotion ROI worked out?

It is the contribution above a normal night, divided by the promotion cost. A result below the minimum on Settings shows as weak or losing money.

How many fixtures and events are included?

36 sample fixtures, 23 of them played with actuals, plus 6 spare fixture rows and 4 spare menu rows.

Do I need macros?

No. Every result is a standard worksheet formula.
